Full-Time or Part-Time · Licensed, Associate Licensed, or Master's-holding Pre-Licensed · Hourly W-2
Position overview
SteadyRise Counseling is seeking hourly W-2 clinicians to join our collaborative, trauma-attuned clinical team. This is an employment position (W-2), not a contractor role. Clinicians are compensated on an hourly basis through a structured and equitable fee-for-service pay system.
We offer remote, in-person, and hybrid work options. In-person sessions are provided at our Dunmore location.
Clinical responsibilities
- Provide trauma-attuned therapy to individuals and couples
- Integrate evidence-based and research-informed approaches
- Provide culturally responsive, affirming, and ethical care
- Participate in weekly group supervision and consultation as applicable
- Maintain timely and ethical documentation
- Engage in reflective practice and professional development
Required qualifications
- Master's degree or higher in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field
- Licensed, associate licensed, or actively working toward licensure in Pennsylvania
- Commitment to trauma-attuned, inclusive care
- Alignment with practice values
- Strong communication skills
- Prior experience with — or willingness to learn — Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems
Preferred qualifications
- Trauma-attuned certifications or advanced training
- Interest in integrative or brain–body approaches
- Experience with diverse populations
Employment requirements
Final candidates must complete required background checks (Child Abuse Registry, State Police, and FBI fingerprinting) as a condition of employment, or have completed clearances within the last 2 years.
Compensation & benefits
We use a structured, hourly, fee-for-service pay band system to ensure fair and equitable compensation. Hourly rates are determined by education, licensure status, years of clinical experience, and relevant certifications or advanced training. Pay bands are reviewed over time as clinicians grow.
Professional development and supervision supports are offered through an equity-based framework — they are optional resources, not required benefits, and are not components of base compensation.

- Biweekly pay through structured fee-for-service pay bands
- All billing, claims submission, and insurance follow-up handled by the practice

Additional for full-time
Full-time clinicians
- Continuing Education (CEU) stipend toward approved trainings
- PTO based on clinical hours worked, including PTO on your work anniversary
- Weekly group consultation
Additional for associate licensed
Associate licensed clinicians
- Individual and group supervision hours toward licensure
Scheduling expectations
Clinicians have autonomy in creating their schedules. Full-time status requires at least 22 clinical hours per week; part-time requires at least 8 clinical hours per week. To meet caseload expectations, full-time clinicians may need some 4–8pm evening or weekend availability.
Commute & location
Clinicians providing in-person services must have reliable transportation and the ability to commute to our Dunmore, PA location.
